More Keflings are made by building houses, and you have to add love (represented with a heart) in order to make more people. Because you use Keflings for everything, a high population is a must… These Keflings can be normal, but sometimes they must be taken to various schools in order to become more ‘educated’ for the higher-level shops and such.
Keflings are also assigned to the different buildings themselves so that they can stay open and run properly. Gatherers collect the raw resources so that transporters can take them to the various factories to be refined OR they drop them off at other factories to be stored so that you might make pieces for other buildings. You assign the little people around you (Keflings) the roles of gatherers or transporters in order to help you accomplish things faster. You assemble these things into the pieces you need for various buildings that are needed in order to advance through the game. These resources can then be made into multiple other things such as metal, planks, cloth, and etc. Resources are: brambles, ice, ore, crystals, stone, wood, and wool (etc). Like farmville or any other map where you run a town or city, your job is to collect resources and drop them into buildings in order to complete tasks. There really is no huge plot or any twists, just the ever-unsolved mystery of how you got into that giant block of ice in the first place. You also have a bunch of smaller quests to do for other people such as a Witch, a Mad Scientist, and a Pirate. Your main goal is to build a castle for the self-proclaimed “Kefling King”. After finishing all that you can in the Ice Kingdom (through building of course), you will eventually travel across the Forest and Desert Kingdoms as well. By assigning different people jobs (ie gatherers, ice miners, bramble cutters, stone miners, and etc) and building onto the Kingdom, you advance through the story. After awakening, the Kefkimos spare no time in telling you about all the different resources scattered about and how things are made in the game. You’re a giant trapped in ice (you play as your XBOX Avatar) and you are freed by the people of the Ice Kingdom known as Kefkimos. While it may have either one of those reasons or a micture of the two, I picked up this game…and yeah, it’s something else.
Another reason I picked up this game might have been because I thought getting achievements would be simple, and I really wanted to raise my gamer score. I feel like it was just one of those random things my g/f had downloaded on her XBOX that she decided to show me because she thought that it was fun. I forget what spurred me to play this game.
